The Galaxy S21 is a beautiful phone

After seeing the Galaxy S21 in numerous images, my thoughts on its design have not necessarily changed much – I have always acknowledged that its unique back is tastefully done. But after seeing fresh real photos this week, I think it’s one of the most elegantly designed phones in a while. What a nice phone the Galaxy S21 is.

You may be tempted to point out that the design actually does not differ that much from this year’s Galaxy S20, and that you would not be wrong. We still have the front of the screen with a centered front camera. The back looks very glassy with a large camera body. The rest of the design pieces are negligible.

For whatever reason, the camera body pushes it over the top. It’s like a waterfall next to a pool. It looks dangerous, so you can not keep your eyes off it. It is a risky design whose payoff is obvious because nothing else matches its uniqueness. By cutting out a piece of the corner of the phone, Samsung separates both cameras to remind you that it is there, while still blending into the entire phone’s body. This is quite magical.

And that’s really all that connects it as special. The front end, although it has even smaller edges than the S20s, is not as noticeable. Fewer rings can impair its usefulness. But the back makes the S21 stand out against a sea of recent phones that have exactly the same design.

I can not wait to get my hands on this beauty.
