The Florida couple invites home guests who do not belong to them

A couple in Florida were hoping to keep their dream wedding on the grounds of a magnificent multi-million dollar mansion boasting a tennis court, gazebo and a pool with a waterfall.

The only problem was that they never told the plans of the owner of the house.

Courtney Wilson and Shenita Jones invited their entire family to the wedding in their ‘dream home and estate’, which turned out to be a palace-like estate they did not own and reportedly did not rent in the luxury suburb of Florida, Southwest Ranches , the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Wednesday.

The 16,300-square-foot mansion, which is $ 5.6 million on the market, is not a wedding factory. It boasts a bowling alley, 15 bathrooms, a home theater and an 800 square meter bar.

In their online wedding invitation, Wilson and Jones called themselves “the royal couple” and promised a reception featuring a “red carpet cocktail hour” on Saturday, followed by a brunch on Sunday.

But when Wilson showed up to set up Saturday morning to set up, he shocked the homeowner, claiming he never gave them permission to hold their wedding service there.

“I have people trespassing on my property,” Nathan Finkel told a 911 dispatcher.

‘And they hold me and call me. They say they are going to get married here and that is God’s message. I do not know what’s going on. All I want is for it to stop. And they are now sitting at my property at the front gate. ‘

When officers arrived there, they ordered Wilson to leave, and he obeyed, the outlet reported.

“I do not want to talk about it,” Wilson told the newspaper.

Finkel, whose late father was an early concessionaire of the IHOP restaurant, tried to sell the palace for just over $ 5 million.

Keith Poliakoff, a lawyer for the suburb of Southwest Ranches, said Wilson had previously toured the estate while pretending to be a potential buyer.

“The man thought it was a vacant house and did not realize that Nathan lived in another house on the premises,” Poliakoff said. “This man had no idea he lived there. Do you know the shock that must have been on his face when he arrived at the gate and the owner was home? ‘
