The European Union ambassador to Venezuela was expelled by the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro

Brillhante Pedrosa’s eviction was ordered on February 24 by Maduro, who was initially sentenced to 72 hours in jail for stealing money from Venezuela and extended his stay, according to a diplomatic petition.

The decision was taken by the National Assembly (AN), a power from which the chavismo possessed an immediate majority, exhorting the Executive to expel Brilhante, and responding to the sanctions of the Communist bloc against 19 Venezuelans, among the deputies and officials of the regime.

The second time Maduro ordered the salute of Venezuela’s Brilliant. The first round will take place in the final of June 2020, in other words, sanctions by the EU against officials of the Venezuelan dictatorship. But on that occasion, the chavismo reversed the decision three days later.

The Venezuelan opposition refuses to mediate the expulsion of Brilhante Pedrosa, who is considered an ally in the defense of human rights in the country.

“We show solidarity with the EU Embassy in Caracas, which has always demonstrated its support for human rights and democracy in Venezuela in the name of Europe”, said on Twitter, the same day that the expulsion of diplomacy was ordered, the leader leader Juan Guaidó, who is reconciled as Venezuela’s interim president with more than a hundred centenarians.

Leopoldo López assured this March that the dictatorship “will not only oblige the Venezuelans to sell the country, but also the women, without importing the nationality that binds, is preoccupied with the welfare and freedom”. At the moment, Maduro, no other member of the regime has announced his commitment to peace, which produces the focus of the media.

In response to the eviction of his ambassador, Brussels also declared a person free of charge to the head of Venezuela’s mission to the EU, Claudia Salerno.

But this decision does not imply the expulsion of Venezuelan communist diplomacy, because Salerno is also the ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg.
