Dancing with stars Elena Samodanova’s estranged wife Gleb Savchenko has asked for joint custody and marital support in their split.
Samodanova, 36, filed her divorce petition last December 22, People reported Tuesday.
Samodanova, in her argument to end the 14-year marriage, asked the court for the chance that Savchenko, 37, would get support.

The former couple are parents of Olivia (10) and Zlata (three).
Samodanova told People that her estranged husband, Savchenko, had a recent inappropriate relationship amid “ongoing infidelity”, but Savchenko told Entertainment Tonight he had always been faithful in the relationship.
‘I’ve never really cheated on her. Never, never, ever, ‘Savchenko said. ‘All this, it was she who tried to set it up. All the partners I danced with … that was never the case. ‘
Savchenko says he did not romantically pursue Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, his dance partner in season 29, by sending her flowers; he said that Samodanova told him the flower gift would be a nice gesture.

The former couple, pictured in 2017 in LA, are parents to Olivia (10) and Zlata (three).
He also responded to new recordings of a romantic outing between Samodanova and former DWTS personality Vlad Kvartin in Mexico, saying, “I felt something was going on with Vlad.”
Samodanova’s representative told People that his allegations that she had an extramarital affair were completely false.
“Elena has been launching their shared dance studio and raising their daughters for the past few years,” the rep said. ‘It’s no secret that Gleb had affairs with former dance partners – and who knows who else.
“Playing the victim is gross negligence on his part, and he may have to look at what he is saying before Elena decides to meet him at his level and make everyone’s names known.”
Savchenko was spotted on holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, earlier this month with his new romantic interest, Sharknado actress Cassie Scerbo, on a couple trip with Stause and her beau Keo Motsepe, also a professional dancer with the stars.
