The Elder Scrolls is reportedly the next game to receive a Netflix adaptation • Eurogamer.net

If true, this would be the second Bethesda game to be turned into a TV show.

Netflix is reportedly planning to set up a TV show based on The Elder Scrolls franchise.

With the success of similar adjustments that The Witcher and Castlevania have made in strong programs on the streaming service, there are now rumors that Netflix wants to repeat the formula with a show based on Bethesda’s action RPG.

The rumor comes via Daniel Ritchtman (£) (thanks, Game Rant), who reports that Netflix wants to adapt the fan-favorite franchise. Admittedly, this is just a rumor – we have not heard of Bethesda, Microsoft or Netflix yet – but given that there are already plans to turn Fallout 4 into a TV show, it is definitely a credible .

If you missed it, The Elder Scrolls Online’s next big adventure is all about oblivion, as revealed at The Game Awards. There is a unveiling event taking place on January 21, 2021 to see this new storyline for the first time.

As we explained at the time, Oblivion was the Bethesda RPG that appeared on PC and Xbox 360 in March 2006. It is located in Cyrodiil, and it is your job to take down a cult called the Mythic Dawn, which plans to open the gates to the demonic empire known as Oblivion. The first set involves the escape from a prison with Emperor Uriel Septim VII, pronounced by Patrick Stewart. Eventually you come out in front of you in this big, open fantasy world.

The Gates of Oblivion from The Elder Scrolls Online follows the chapter of Dark Heart of Skyrim in 2020, which tends to be the ever-popular Skyrim.
