The Detroit Pistons-Denver Nuggets game was postponed Monday before the knockout

Monday’s Detroit Pistons-Denver Nuggets game was postponed minutes before his scheduled ET tip at Ball Arena due to contact detection within the Pistons, the NBA announced.

Detroit delivered a positive / unconvincing coronavirus test to a player, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Pistons watched preview movies when they heard about the postponement.

The NBA recently made the decision to postpone matches in the situation of a single Test that may return.

Detroit would play the second game of a five-city Western Conference tour in Denver on Monday. The Pistons scheduled games against the Jazz (Tuesday), Suns (Friday) and Lakers (Saturday).

The team stayed in Denver and tested the players after Monday’s postponement, but would leave Salt Lake City and is expected to face the Jazz on Tuesday, sources told ESPN.

Monday’s game would be the return of two former Nuggets – Jerami Grant and Mason Plumlee. Denver players can be seen talking to and embracing their former teammates during warm-ups in the foreplay.

This is the 23rd game postponed due to COVID-19 this NBA season.
