The couple tries to beat COVID evening clock by letting the woman walk

QUEBEC – A Canadian couple thought they found a loophole in the hanging rules by the woman ‘walking’ with her husband while wearing a leash.

On Saturday, officials in Canada began a new evening clock from 8pm to 5am due to a recent surge of COVID-19. Police in the province of Quebec saw the couple walking in the city of Sherbrooke around 9pm local time, about an hour after the start of the curfew.

When questioned by police, the couple said they were following the rules that allow people to break curfews to walk pets near their homes, BBC reports.

Unfortunately, police had no excuse and fined them both more than $ 1,200.

According to the report, Quebec police issued 750 tickets for violating the curfew the first weekend it went into effect.
