The CNM is evaluating TC’s juvenile aspirants

Mañana the National Council of Magistrates (CNM) will meet by third party in this governing body to evaluate the tens of thousands of candidates he has submitted to be judged by the Constitutional Tribunal (TC).

The session convened by President Luis Abinader, who presides over the CNM, was scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m., valuing the credentials of 72 aspiring lawyers, ahead of a preselection.

These publications are a requisition of Ley 138-11, which also establishes that the verification of the requisites should be able to have been depraved with a minimum of five favorable votes.

Election

It is time to end the process of interviewing the members of the Council deliberating and voting to elect the new juices, to then proceed with the adjudication ceremony. In the event of an empathy, the vote of the President of the Republic will be decisive. The march took place on December 23rd, marking the 15th day of the CNM’s day for aspirants, in order to submit their applications to the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ). The 72 people enrolled, including lawyers and juices, were posted by various academic, religious and social organizations, as well as personalities.
