MADISON, Wis. A yoga studio in downtown Madison is closing its doors for good after ten years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Studio, located in the 600 block of Williamson Street, announced in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

“Although it does not end as we had hoped, we would rather focus on the brightest side … that we have all come together and created something wonderful for a decade,” the report reads. ‘So many lives have been touched, inspired and changed. Instead of being sad that it’s over, let our hearts swell with joy that The Studio has happened. We are so, so glad it happened. ”

According to the report, the pandemic cost The Studio badly. The report also pointed out that despite the deployment of vaccines, business owners have not yet been able to find a clear path that keeps public health at the forefront.

This, coupled with the fact that the landlord of the building had entered into a new lease with another business, eventually forced the business to close.
