The next iPad Pro may be just a few days from launch.

Another rumor is pointing to the upcoming month of the next iPad Pro, so it may just be a few days gone by. Since there is a consensus that this means a brand new display technology and Apple’s fastest processor to date, this is very good news.
But, as TS Eliot wrote: ‘April is the cruelest month’, and if you’re in the design team for the iPad mini, you might feel that it’s very good, because the same tipster claims that the next iPad mini did not launch does not become. this month though. For the record, Eliot’s The Waste Land talks about more in-depth stuff, but it’s the best reference to April in any poem’s opening line since Chaucer, so I wanted to quote it.
Anyway, where were we?
Ah yes, the fee comes from someone calling themselves Uncle Pan, who said on Weibo that he dreamed of the products that Apple would unveil at its ‘April conference’ – not that such an event had been confirmed – and that he believes the next iPad Pro will be announced according to schedule. He also said ‘the full-screen iPad mini is out of order’ and that AirPods will also be updated. More about the last bit of Gordon Kelly here on Forbes.

Note that it has not yet been said that there will be no iPad mini this month; rather than it is, it will have a design similar to the current model, rather than the rumor update for one with a larger screen that widens the home button in favor of the page. of Face ID or Touch ID in the on / off button, such as the latest iPad Air.
Still, I think there have been rumors for some time about the upgraded iPad mini that Apple will not refresh its smallest tablet until it is ready to drop the brand new model.
In that case, it sounds like the iPad Pro will be the center of this month’s unveiling. I also rule out the possibility of an update to the entry-level iPad, as Apple’s latest iPad, the eighth generation model, is only six months old.
So it looks like we’ll probably be expecting a lightning fast processor, called the A14X, which will be a customized version of the A14 found in the latest iPhones and iPad Air. There are rumors that it will be just as fast as the M1 chip on the latest MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, which will be pretty incredible.
The screen is likely to have a dazzling appearance, upgraded from LED LCD to miniLED on the larger 12.9-inch model, but stays with the regular screen on the 11-inch model.
As for when we can expect it, there is a lot of confusion about this. Rumors of a March 23 event were completely off, but as readers of my weekly AppleUnboxed newsletter will know, I came up with the idea weeks ago.
So if you’re pushing me for an appointment, I think it’s Tuesday, April 13th or Wednesday, April 14th when the iPad Pro (and AirPods and some accessories) will be revealed. Eventually it may be next week, but I do not think so.
