The Bachelor’s Kelley Flanagan describes ‘non-negotiable’ that led to her split with Peter Weber

Kelley Flanagan opened up about her and Peter Weber’s breakup during an appearance in Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast, Off the Vine, this week.

While discussing why she and the 29-year-old pilot tore each other apart, the lawyer also revealed that they briefly rekindled their relationship, but said for good last month.

“At my end, there were just a bunch of non-negotiable issues in the relationship that they were apparently working on, or saying they would be worked on or changed, and actions speak louder than words,” he said. the fifth runner-up of Weber’s season of The Bachelor.

She continued: “If there was anything I considered disrespectful in a relationship, I would talk about it and I was quite outspoken.”

While she would tell him directly when he was doing something to ‘make her feel’, Flanagan said they did not seem to be correcting their problem areas.

The reality star noticed that things ‘did not really change’ and eventually she had to accept it.

“It’s struggling,” said the beauty of their farewell. “He was really trying to get back together and try to work things out, and I was pretty hesitant about it all.”

While they have since divorced, Flanagan was persuaded to contact Weber again after he told her, “I love you, I want to be with you again.”

By Valentine’s Day, however, their relationship was over.

“I do not think I will be in touch with him,” she added. ‘This is a place in my past, I focus on my future wishes. I do not think it was the healthiest thing for me to keep [my] past and [my] future and I wish him well. ‘

Despite planning to move to New York together earlier this year, Weber made the move alone.

As she was on her way to the Big Apple a few months after her ex, she said, “This is a big city, we’re fine.”

‘There was never a time I was in,’ OK, because you’re pulling [there] I’m not going to move there, ‘she told Bristowe.

During Weber’s on The Bachelor last year, Flanagan left the show in the seventh week; he initially chose Hannah Ann Sluss, but their engagement collapsed amid his romantic attraction to Madison Prewitt. He was first linked with Flanagan last April.

Weber only announced their split on New Year’s Eve, saying they “decided to go separately.”

“While our relationship was filled with many fond memories, our relationship simply did not work out in the end,” he wrote.

‘Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I learned more from than she would ever understand. “Someone for whom I am so grateful has come into my life and someone for whom I will always wish the greatest blessings,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, a week later, she wrote: ‘Peter and I have had amazing times together and they will definitely be missed. Unfortunately, he and I are in two different phases of life and see our future paths differently. ‘

Flanagan makes it clear that she has no bad will towards him and says: “I wish Peter the best and would like to thank everyone for your continued support in the next chapter.”
