The Associated Press mocked reports that GOP had ‘seized’ Cuomo scandals to divert attention from Biden’s greatness

The mainstream media often fabricates stories about scandals by Democratic Democrats by branding them as Republicans who take advantage of the situation, and Associated Press continued the tradition over the weekend, claiming ‘Republicans seized’ various allegations of sexual harassment against the government of New York Andrew Cuomo.

The story, “Top Dems Appeals to Cuomo to Resign Amid Harassment Charges,” noted that Cuomo was ‘fighting for his political survival’ after Senate leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, DN.Y., asked him to retire. Yet the article managed to praise President Biden and reject Republicans.

REPORTER ACCUSES GOV. CUOMO OF SEXUAL TITLE: ‘IT WASN’T ABOUT SEX. IT’S OVER POWER ‘

“The escalating political crisis has sparked an indictment in an overwhelming Democratic state and threatens to cast a cloud over President Joe Biden’s earlier tenure. Republicans have seized on the scandal to divert Biden ‘s success in tackling the coronavirus pandemic is its party’s established advantage with female voters, ”the AP wrote in the fourth paragraph of the story.

Cuomo is accused of sexually harassing at least seven women and many Democrats have asked him to resign, but the AP has essentially stated that Republicans are using the scandal to distract Americans from Biden’s coronavirus success.

Charles CW Cooke, editor of the National Review, mocked the writing style last year.

“At this point, any journalist who makes a mistake or controversial statement by a Democratic politician with ‘conservative punch’ should be unfortunate out of touch with reality or consciously troll,” Cooke wrote.
