LAS VEGAS – The 777-room hotel tower of Circa Resort & Casino is officially open.

More than a month after casino mogul Derek Stevens opened the casino to the public in downtown, the hotel tower is now placing guests in rooms.

“They say to save the best for last,” Stevens said in a statement.

Here’s a look at the first new resort built in downtown in decades:

Founders Suites

The Founders Suites are located on the top three floors of the Circa and offer clear views of the Las Vegas Valley and the Strip.

These two-bedroom suites average 1831 square feet. Each room has a bar, fridge and flat-screen TV next to floor-to-ceiling windows.

The bedrooms have large bathrooms, a separate kitchen table, flat-screen HDTVs and seating near the city views.

Standard rooms

The standard rooms of Circa range from 403 to 752 square feet, accented with shades of navy blue and sapphire, rugs with geometric pattern and walnut wood.

The rooms have single or double king-size beds, head-height ceilings, refrigerators and 55-inch flat-screen TVs.

In Circa’s 360-degree rooms, a king-size bed is placed in the middle and surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows.

Suites

The suites of Circa range from 822 to 1612 square feet. It includes large lounges, floor-to-ceiling windows, lounge furniture, black quartz dining table, full bar and fridge. Each room has a 65-inch HDTV.

Bathrooms have large showers, water closets and double vanities.

Some suites have modern Inova beds hidden in the walls, which fold open to make room for more guests.

The color scheme relies on ‘velvety midnight blues’.

Bunk Bed Suites & Pillows

These suites are designed for large groups. Sizes range from 713 to 1362 square feet.

The suites and ‘pads’ contain two luxury bunk beds that sleep four people, as well as lounges, dining rooms, a wet bar, fridge and a loading port for each bed.

A long time to come

Circa owner Derek Stevens had previously planned to launch the entire Circa package in December, but the social distance requirements at the construction site in the wake of COVID-19 forced him to change the timeline.

Restrictions on the number of people allowed in elevators limited the number of workers allowed on the top floor of the hotel. Stevens worked with construction contractors to focus on the first five floors and bring about an early opening.

“We took the hand we received and tried to work as efficiently as possible,” Stevens told the USA TODAY Network.

The 44-story resort casino opened to the public on October 28.

Here’s what you’ll still find at Circa Resort & Casino:

Amphitheater pool

The multi-level pool amphitheater is temperature controlled and features a 134 by 41 foot video screen.

Stevens places the aquatic center as a ‘destination pool’ – a place that will be at the top of the tourist lists when they roll through Sin City.

Restaurant

Guests have access to several new restaurants, including: Saginaw’s Delicatessen, Victory Burger and Wings, Project BBQ and Barry’s Downtown Prime.

Two-story casino and sports book

Circa’s two-story casino features 1,350 slot machines, 49 table games and what Stevens considers the largest sports book in the world.

The sports book with a seat of 1,000 guests contains a high-definition screen of 78 million pixels that can be seen in the Circa’s two-story casino.
