They warned that the solution was not ‘for easy use’, but estimated that a single developer at Rockstar could implement something similar in less than a day. It goes after everything longer than it takes, but according to Rockstar, an official solution is on the way.

“After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that the player first revealed an aspect of the game code related to the download times for the PC version of GTA Online that could be improved,” the company said.
