Texans’ Deshaun Watson responds to lawsuit filed by Houston attorney

Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson is reportedly facing off, but it is unclear of what nature.

Tony Buzbee, founder of the Houston-based Buzbee law firm, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday night that he had filed a lawsuit, saying that the ‘case we just filed against Watson’s is not about money – it’s about about dignity and stopping behavior that is stopped. ”

Buzbee’s statement did not contain any allegations, but Buzbee told a Houston television station on Tuesday that Watson was getting a massage from a woman when “Watson went too far.”

Buzbee wrote in the Instagram post: “Too many times women have behaved that we all know no one should tolerate. Should we make excuses for the celebrities? Or those who hold special positions, or eighth men in a local professional football team? I do not think so! ”

Watson responded via social media Tuesday night, denying the charges.

“As a result of a post on social media by a lawyer of a plantif lawyer, I recently took note of a lawsuit that was apparently filed against me,” he wrote on Twitter. ‘I have not seen the complaint yet, but I know it: I have never treated any woman with the utmost respect.

‘The plaintiff’s lawyer claims that it is not about money, but before filing a case, he set an unfounded six-digit settlement requirement, which I quickly dismissed. Unlike him, it’s not about money for me; it’s about clearing my name, and I’m looking forward to doing it. ”
