Tesla’s $ 2,000,000 Model 2 Electric Car Delivered – Dope or Nope?

Tesla’s upcoming $ 25,000 electric car, sometimes referred to as ‘Model 2’, was delivered by an artist.

Dope or Nope? Let us know.

Just over a year ago, Tesla announced plans to establish a new R&D and design center in China to build a “Chinese Chinese” electric car.

Tesla started taking design submissions last summer for its tiny little electric car manufactured by Chinese and shortly thereafter started renting for the program.

At the time, the carmaker also released this early design drawing of a small electric hatchback.

This has led many to think that this is the design direction and form factor that Tesla is going for the upcoming electric vehicle:

Later, when he talked about what Tesla’s new battery cell and the “structural battery pack” architecture could do on Battery Day last year, CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla was going to make a $ 25,000 electric car.

The CEO said in the announcement:

Tesla will make a compelling $ 25,000 electric vehicle that is also fully autonomous.

He made it clear that this new price point is being reached through the new attempt to manufacture batteries and accumulators.

Musk also added that the new $ 25,000 electric car will be on the market in about three years, when Tesla increased production of its new battery cell.

The recent remarks of Tesla’s head in China linked the $ 25,000 electric car and the new Chinese hatchback as the same car.

Now a Brazilian artist from KDesign AG about Behance has released an interesting version based on the drawing of the hatchback that Tesla released:

What do you like about it? Nope or Dope? Could it be that the Model 2 or whatever would be called Tesla’s upcoming $ 25,000 electric car?

Electrek’s Take

Personally, I like it a lot, but I think the actual vehicle will need more rounded corners for aerodynamic performance.

The wheels also look like Tesla’s Model 3 track wheels, and the Model 3, or whatever it’s called, will definitely have to come with aero wheels.

Although, I could see Tesla making a hot hatch version with dual cars, better wheels and tires, and excellent performance.

But I can imagine that the base version looks like a slightly finished version of the version.
