Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, originally said when the new models were launched in January, that production had already started and that deliveries would begin in February. However, he later tweeted that there are still ‘very fine details to address’.

While Tesla does not give a reason for the delivery delays, Musk said at the end of February that the factory in Fremont, California, had to stop production for a few days due to shortages of spare parts.

He reportedly said in an email to employees at the time that Tesla was benefiting from the temporary shutdown of the plant with the upgrading and maintenance of equipment, adding that the company had “almost finished” its production lines, and that the full production is expected to resume in the second. term.
