Tesla China paves the way for sustainable transportation with one success after another. The news this time around is that Tesla China has taken the cake along with the world’s largest charging station, and the station opened just before the end of 2020. Jay in Shanghai shared the news on Twitter. In his thread, Jay shared some photos of the Supercharging station, which looks like a dedicated parking garage just for loading Tesla vehicles.

The world’s largest Tesla charging station is located in downtown Shanghai. In June last year, we reported that Tesla had embarked on a mission to expand its Supercharger network in China. According to a report by the Global Times, Tesla plans to install 4,000 new Superchargers in China by the end of 2020. And with Jay’s current news reports and tweets, Tesla seems to be keeping that promise. We do not yet know the exact number added, but several large stations have recently been added, and certainly many more normal charging stations.

More superchargers in China
Jay too shared news of another milestone that Tesla China has set on this subject. When asked how many new stations Tesla installed in December, Jay replied that the 500th Supercharger station opened in mainland China at the end of November and that there are now 650 stations in China, which means that about 150 were added in December. .

Loss of time is one of the best ways to see progress flourish and flourish. Jay shared one on Twitter showing Tesla China’s first charger in Shanghai in 2014 and moving on to the world’s largest charger station, which came to an end just before 2020.
From Shanghai’s first Tesla Supercharger station in 2014 to 2020,
Tesla’s largest world station is officially opened today in Shanghai, China. In China, Tesla has made incredible progress. Jay pointed out that this progress this year includes enhanced loading experiences. I already write for CleanTechnica For over a year, and if I look at the progress I have covered from the outside, I can see that it is rising much further than the growth of the charging station. I have long predicted that China likes Tesla’s brand and that Tesla will thrive in this market. We’re really starting to see it.
I just reported that the manufactured China Model Y is now being delivered in China, and that Tesla’s new sales show that total Tesla sales in China are close to 150,000, but only the US’s ~ 205,000. Furthermore, it is actually the top market in the world for Model 3 sales, with over 50,000 more Model 3 sales than the US.
