Tesla Model Y 7 Seat Review from a Female Perspective

First things first: we’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, we definitely need more female car judges, and this’s especially true when it comes to those that cover Tesla.

Although many women own Tesla vehicles, it seems to be few, as most of the popular review channels are dominated by men. We will definitely be sharing more content from female Tesla owner Carter Jones in the future.

Jones brings a new perspective in this review of the three-row Model Y, which she was recently happy to test. In addition, her channel contains useful Tesla-related content, most of which has been published in recent months. It’s mainly related to the Model 3 she already owns, and it seems to be focused on finances and features.

Jones compares the 2021 Model Y to her 2021 Model 3. The Model Y she checks has the optional third row, but apart from that, it does not really differ from any other 2021 Model Y.

She has never ridden a Model Y and is considering renting another car. Actually, she might be interested in renting a Model Y, but first she needs to go investigate it. Luckily, she can take a Model Y home overnight. She’s amazed at how big the Model Y is, even though it still feels almost the same as the Model 3 when you sit in the driver’s seat.

Jones feels the Model Y is a better Tesla for families and travel. However, she is a very small lady, and still even with the second row moving forward, his car barely fits in the optional third-row seats. In addition, she says that if you have to go with the 3-row model, you may not have enough cargo space for your family due to the extra seats. If you can stick to the 2-row model, you may be better off with it.

Ultimately, we feel that Jones’ rating of the Model Y is very much like ours. If you already have a Model 3 and do not need a small third row, it may not make sense to upgrade and spend the extra money on the Model Y. However, if you are a fan of crossovers, you appreciate the wider interior, and the higher ride height, you should at least consider the Model Y.

We suggest that you drive Model 3 and Model Y before making a decision. We also suggest that the 7-seater Model Y be compared to the 5-seater up close.

What do you think? Is Model Y worth the extra money, or should the Model 3 be sufficient for most people? Let us know in the comments below.
