Tesla Model S, Model X refreshes the incoming position as EV sales begin, the report reads

Time for change?

Tesla could finally get a refresh for its oldest cars, the Model S and Model X. According to a report by Electrek on Friday, citing sources familiar with the carmaker’s plans, Tesla recently told employees to liquidate all Model S and Model X cars currently in the company’s inventory, which is likely to indicates a refreshing EVs this year.

The website also noted that Tesla closed the assembly lines for the carmaker’s two flagship EVs in December. Combined with the latest information, it definitely sounds like there are changes going on. Tesla does not operate a public relations department to submit requests for comment, so always take it with a grain of salt as always with these types of Tesla rumors.

However, if Tesla is determined to sell its current Model S and Model X share, there could be some good deals. Maybe we’ll see the company sweeten the deal in other ways with extended free spins or something like that. We need to oversee any kind of extra incentives, which could be more evidence that Tesla is ready to introduce new, refreshed EVs.

We have not yet heard much about what the refreshing Model S and Model X EVs might contain, but an alleged sketch allegedly showed what the company had in mind for both luxury cars. The rumored redesign looks like many elements from the Model 3 and Model Y with a more minimalist approach and a massive screen in the middle.

Updated Model S and Model X EVs were not with us what to expect from Tesla in 2021, but it will be a welcome surprise. The cars currently feel light years ahead of other luxury cars, but they are starting to look a bit outdated.
