Terry Rozier’s buzz for Hornets vs Warriors first since Dell Curry

Terry Rozier helped the Charlotte Hornets steal a win Saturday night against the Warriors, and over time, he hit an outrageous three-pointer.

It was Charlotte’s first award-winning buzzer against the Warriors as a franchise in a long time, and the last Hornet to do so has an interesting connection to the Bay.

Dell Curry, the father of Warriors star Steph, knocked down this three-pointer in 1989 to win the Warriors.

Steph was a late scraper from Saturday night’s game as he did not ‘feel good’ according to Warriors PR.

The Warriors had a late lead, but after Draymond Green was nine seconds left, and Charlotte fired a few technical free throws to level the game, Rozier nailed the jumper to secure the win.

Dell, who is now an analyst at Hornets broadcasts, would probably like to see his son play live, but can at least be happy that his team came out on top.
