According to a new report, a 17-year-old man has been charged with murder in the death of a wealthy British restaurant owner.
Susan Addis, 69, was discovered with stab wounds in her home in Brighton on Thursday, reports The Sun.
It is unclear how the attack unfolded. Friends said she lives alone but knows the suspect.
“According to the sounds of things, there was some sort of quarrel in the house and Sue sustained some injuries,” an unknown friend told The Sun.
The suspect, who has not yet been publicly identified, is charged with murder, according to The Sun, on Friday.
Addis operates two popular restaurants, Donatello and Pinocchio, which are popular with celebrities and athletes.
The Addis family pleaded for privacy, adding that they were “in a state of shock” over her murder.
