Tedy Bruschi returns to Arizona Wildcats as senior college football advisor

TUCSON, Ariz – Tedy Bruschi returns to Arizona football.

The school announced Monday that Bruschi will serve as senior adviser to new coach Jedd Fisch.

Bruschi was a two-time consensus All-American and Pac-12 defensive player of the year during his four-year stint at Tucson from 1992 to 1995. He played 13 NFL seasons with the New England Patriots and won three Super Bowls before joining 2009 retired.

Bruschi serves as chief analyst at ESPN after his retirement.

His duties in Arizona will include serving on the executive football management team and as a consultant to the football staff. He will also assist Fisch with alumni relationships, fundraising, social justice initiatives and student-athlete development.

Fisch was appointed last month to replace Kevin Sumlin.
