Ted Nugent tested positive for COVID-19, a few months after calling the global health crisis a ‘not a real pandemic’ and a ‘scam’.
The 72-year-old singer ‘Just What the Doctor Ordered’ revealed his diagnosis on Facebook Live on Monday.
‘I’ve had flu symptoms for the last ten days. “I thought I was going to die,” Nugent said in the video.
The Detroit rocker described his symptoms as ‘body aches’ and ‘a stuffy head’.
‘My god, what a pain in the a–. “I could hardly crawl out of bed for the last few days,” he said.
The entertainer continued to use racist language to talk about the virus and call it the ‘Chinese s – t’.
He also added that he was not going to get the COVID-19 vaccine because “no one knows what’s in it.”
Nugent earlier shared a Christmas message in which he called the health threat a ‘scammy pandemic’ and called people wearing masks ‘sheep’.
