‘Ted Lasso’ season two hits Apple TV + on July 23

The company is nestled amidst all the hardware announcements Apple shared today during its Spring Forward event, and has had a fun surprise for Apple TV + subscribers waiting for something new to watch on the service. The second season of Ted Lasso begins on July 23rd. If you are not familiar with the program, Jason Sudeikis interprets it as an eternally positive football coach who leads an English football team.

The only problem is that he has no experience in the sport. With the second season, Lasso’s AFC Richmond team finds itself in a rut, with the team losing eight draws, but does not appear to have dampened its enthusiasm. Sudeikis won a number of awards last season for his performance as Lasso, and the show is one of Apple’s standouts.
