Texas Senator Ted Cruz apparently did not think too kindly of mentioning a ‘reckless hole’ in former House of Representatives John Boehner’s new book, and Texas lawmakers have expressed his displeasure with Boehner Tuesday to present a sarcastic publicity stunt.

Boehner has been making headlines in recent weeks since an excerpt from the book “On the House: A Washington Memoir” was published in Politico earlier this month.

He first skips Cruz into the released excerpt, calling him a ‘reckless ass who thinks he’s smarter than everyone else,’ and ‘a madman’ who ‘calls in the crazy caucus of the GOP’. Then a week later, Boehner doubled his criticism of Cruz and told CBS News that he singled out Cruz for reinforcing divisions in the Republican House caucus.

To top it all off, Boehner added an unwritten “PS, Ted Cruz, go f — yourself” in recording the audiobook in the audiobook.

In a Tuesday tweet, Cruz responded to Boehner’s ongoing responses.

“Some smart people have dropped off a copy of Boehner’s new book at my office,” Cruz tweeted. “It’s even signed!”

At the tweet, there were three photos: one from Boehner’s book sitting on a table in Cruz’s office; a second of the title page of the book, signed by Boehner; and a third of the book stood in the fireplace – which Cruz called his ‘suitable place’.

Cruz had previously responded to Boehner’s criticism last week, when the Texas legislature tweeted he proudly bore Boehner’s “drunken, blasphemous” “.

This is not the first time Boehner, who served as speaker from 2011 to 2015, has taken a jerk at Cruz. Since leaving office, the Republican in Ohio has called Cruz ‘Lucifer in the flesh’ and told an audience that he ‘has never worked in my life with a miserable nb boy.’
