Taylor Swift joins Haim for remix of ‘WIMPIII’ song ‘Petrol’

Haim has released an extensive edition of their Grammy-nominated album Women in Music Pt. III, originally released last year. The new edition contains a remix of the WIMPIII track “Gasoline” with Taylor Swift, and a remix of “3AM” with Thundercat.

Swift previously worked with Danielle and Este Haim on the song “No Body, No Crime” from Swift’s December 2020 album. Always. In the same month, Haim released a Toro Y Moi remix of ‘3 AM’. In February 2020, the group made a cameo appearance in Thundercat’s music video for ‘Dragonball Durag’.

Haim is currently nominated in two categories for the 2021 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for Women in Music Pt. III (which they are the first female rock band to be nominated in the category) and Rock Performance for ‘The Steps’.

Last week, Swift released ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)’, the first single from her planned re-recording of her first six albums. The new version of “Love Story” is released on Fearless (Taylor’s version), a recording of her second year 2008 album featuring six new songs written by Swift at the time of year Fearless sessions. Although Swift has not officially given a release date for the album, she has mailed a written statement on Twitter containing a hidden capital letter, spelled ‘ninth April’. A Swift representative later confirmed the release date Rolling clip.
