A new trailer for Nightdive Studios System chef remake gives fans a look at the game’s updated battle. The studio released its preview on Thursday morning, which would make the first demo of the game, which would be available Thursday afternoon, a few months before the planned release of the game.
The preview takes players to the updated Citadel Station. And while it begins as an atmosphere through the haunted house’s haunted rooms – complete with creepy voice-over – it quickly turns into a war against the stranded residents. We see the player shoot some zombie enemies, smash and explode that loot through the station.
“Our development path was bumpy (to say the least), but in the end you play the vision and experience we wanted to create, and the adversity and challenges we faced along the way only improved the final game, said Nightdive in a Kickstarter update on Thursday. “The team has developed and grown significantly and we hope that the end product will meet your expectations. With all that said, we plan to make a late release date for 2021 this summer. ”
Nightdive’s goal with the demo – which will be available on Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG – is to provide a playable look at a “full version of the game”, CEO Stephen Kick said in ‘ an interview with PC player.
Thursday’s update comes three years later System chef first interrupted and nearly five years since the success of Kickstarter. The team said they initially strayed too far from the vision of the original game, but that it has since been tipped into some of the changes. But that does not mean that the remake will look identical to what players remember from the 1994 original. Kick outlined some major flaws in his PC Gamer interview, including a shattering system and a change in the game’s dynamic soundtrack.
Fans can download the demo Thursday to see these changes for themselves. System chef will launch in the late summer of 2021 at the Epic Game Store, GOG and Steam for $ 44.99. Players who pre-order the refurbished System chef will get System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition free when available.
