From weapon attachments to new mobility options, SypherPK has quite a shopping list.
With just over a month of the current season left, people are starting to wonder what’s next for Fortnite. During Chapter 2, it became quite a tradition for Ali “SypherPK” Hassan to create a wish list with the changes he would like to see.
In a recent video titled ‘What Epic NEEDS To Do in Fortnite Season 6 …’, the Twitch and YouTube star described the pros and cons of Season 5 and made some interesting suggestions for the future.
Sypher started with the positive things and praised the developers for consistent content updates, fresh mechanics like sand tunneling and the new currency system. He also added that after a few minor adjustments, he is “the most balanced rifle meta we’ve ever seen”.
So, what does Sypher want from season 6? We will go through the main points, but it is definitely worth watching the video for the full perspective.
Map changes
At the start of season 5, Fortnite fans were delighted to see Tilted Towers come alive again, while some of its most popular buildings descended on Salty Springs. The center of the island has also undergone a significant overhaul, while the Zero Point in the sky appears above a large, sandy desert.
Since then, however, not much has happened, with the arrival of Kit’s Cantina in the v15.30 patch. Sypher reflected on the game-changing arrival of the Stark Industries POI halfway through Season 4, and suggested that he return to major mid-season map changes.
Based on this point, he touched on card mobility. It refers to things like the Chapter 1 volcano, geysers and sliding currents. “We have the sand tunnel and the crystals, but it’s already in the middle of the map,” explains the spreader, recommending that the movement potential to the sides increase.
Buitepoel
While Sypher may enjoy the current Shotgun meta, the same cannot be said for the Assault Rifles. “The AK47 (Heavy AR) is so terrible in my opinion,” he admitted, a sentiment recognized by many front and comfortable players.
He would love to see the Burst AR or Infantry Rifle, but he’s more than keen on something brand new. Perhaps this next topic, however, will help the problem. Weapon attachments.
Epic apparently doesn’t just work on weapons / attachments; there will also be car attachments, such as new levels that have different behaviors for dirt, grass and road and hard to get, as well as other car attachments like Mounted Guns. you later when there is more!

The first time it was leaked in December, it sounds increasingly likely that changes to both weapons and vehicles will come to Fortnite. Sypher is all for it and believes it would be a fantastic way to spice things up.
Currency system
Season 5 introduced ‘Bars’ as an in-game currency system. Although the addition of these gold bars added a new dimension to Battle Royale mode, Sypher believes they need a complete overhaul.
He mentions the idea that players could not rather play bars, but that they could possibly farm gold in a similar way to other materials.
He also wants more choice in terms of what you can buy with it. “I think there might be an option to recharge or revive people who gold with gold … maybe you can buy a Launch Pad, maybe you can buy a self-revive or something like that,” PK thinks.
There’s no doubt that Epic is already deep in the development of season 6, but we’ll have to wait until it’s released to see if any of Sypher’s proposals make the cut. Let us know what you’re hoping for on Twitter @FortniteTracker.
