Swae Lee finally hears of his brother facing a first-degree murder charge in his father’s death … and TMZ looks at their phone call from prison for the first time, and it’s powerful.
The rapper and his mother, Bernadette Walker, got very emotional when they called her son, Michael Sullivan, while sitting in a Mississippi jail, asking for the night in January 2020 when Swae’s stepfather – who helps him raise him – was shot dead.
The emotional prison call is part of Swae’s new documentation on Snapchat, ‘Swae Meets World’, which premiered last Saturday and in which Swae talks for the first time on camera about the death of his stepfather.
Michael, who suffers from a mental illness that needs medication, tells Swae who went through his head the night his father, Floyd Sullivan Jr., died … and it sounds quite intense.
TMZ broke the story … Swae and Skraal Jxmmi‘s half-brother was arrested for murder the day after their stepfather was shot dead, and so was Michael charged with murder and is sentenced to life in prison if convicted.
Bernadette claims Michael might have been from his medication before the alleged shooting … and now Michael tells Swae that he heard voices.
