Employees at The Stockist in the 9th and 9th Districts said Lewis on Sunday threatened to shoot everyone after being asked to wear a mask inside the store. Lewis shouted during the incident and mentioned employees’ names.

“My mind just went to Atlanta and Denver, and everywhere there was a mass shooting,” Josh Edgar, an employee, said.

After police were called, the store closed early to check on the safety of employees and the area.

“I was horrified. I was like, crushed and terrified, and like, terrified of my employees, ”said Helen Wade, store owner.
