PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a family of a delivery driver was found safe after a suspect got into the vehicle with the man’s wife and two young daughters inside. After a police raid through the streets of Philadelphia, the suspect was arrested.
Chopper 3 was on top because police were able to apprehend the suspect.

The kidnapping took place Friday at about 8:40 p.m. in Broad Philadelphia and Erielaan in North Philadelphia.

Police say the driver of City View Pizza delivered a delivery with his 25-year-old wife and his 4-year-old and 2-year-old daughters in the car.
It was then that police say a suspect jumped into the car and left with the family inside. According to police, the vehicle was found and is in good condition with the woman and children.
However, police say the suspect took off in another vehicle – a gray Toyota Scion – from 2014 and was seen from 21st Street on Spring Garden eastward.

The suspect then chased police before he was eventually caught near Franklin Square Park.
