The CW has a new trailer for Superman & Lois, the upcoming TV series starring Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch as DC’s most famous super couple. After months of teasing fans with behind-the-scenes looks and promotional images like Superman’s new costume, we’re now looking at the final product. Superman & Lois see Lois and Clark move back to Smallville, where they will raise two teenage boys who may end up with their father’s forces. Meanwhile, they must balance family life with the responsibilities of being public figures in their own right.
The series has put together a pretty impressive cast; in addition to Hoechlin and Tulloch, Superman & Lois will play Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane; Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang and Erik Valdez as her husband; Adam Rayner as Morgan Edge; and Wole Parks and Stacey Faber in some vicious roles.

In Superman & Lois, after years of megalomaniacal supervillains, monsters that devastated Metropolis, and alien invaders who wanted to wipe out the human race, the world’s most famous superhero, The Man of Steel, aka Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin, “Teen Wolf”) and comics “The most famous journalist, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch, ‘Grimm’), faced one of their greatest challenges ever – dealing with all the stress, pressure and complexity that working parents face in contemporary society.
Clark and Lois, who are complicating the already discouraging work of raising two boys, should also be concerned about whether their sons Jonathan (Jordan Alsace, “Little Fires Everywhere”) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin, “The Peanuts Movie” ) the father could inherit from their father. Cryptonic superpowers as they age. Clark and Lois return to Smallville to run a family business in Kent. They are known again as Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui, ‘Entourage’), a local loan officer who is also Clark’s first love, and her husband, Fire Chief Kyle Cushing (Erik Valdez, “Graceland”). The adults are not the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville, as the Kent boys are reunited with Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter, Sarah (Inde Navarrette, “Wander Darkly”). Of course, there is never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially not with Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh, ‘Nip / Tuck’) looking for Superman to defeat a villain or the day on to save a moment.
Meanwhile, Superman and Lois’ return to idyllic Smallville will be resurrected when a mysterious stranger (Wolé Parks, ‘All American’) enters their lives. Based on the characters from DC created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman & Lois was written and performed by Todd Helbing (“The Flash”) and performed by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns. The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
Superman & Lois will premiere in the spring of 2021.
