Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters are again portrayed by an artist from Marvel and DC heroes, and as might be expected, the new art series is attracting a lot of attention on Twitter. Last week, an art series presented again Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighters as Cuphead characters made the rounds. But that was last week. This week it’s the job of “xeternalflamebryx” to make the rounds, and rightly so, because so far it’s been awesome.
According to the artist, the series will feature all of the game’s major grid as DC or Marvel characters, and the choices will be based on the characteristics that suit the character. To make things interesting, however, the characters will be somewhat based on their fighter number on the official Super Smash Bros. Ultimate website. What does it mean? This means that all fighters with odd numbers will be DC characters, while fighters with even numbers will be Marvel characters.
So far, the series features remakes for Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Dark Samus and Yoshi. Below you can see all these imagery. And of course, give xeternalflamebryx a follow-up to see the entire art series to the end.
