Tampa, FloridaSuper Bowl LV is set: the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It’s a home game for the Buccaneers – as if their legendary full-back Tom Brady needs an advantage.

Brady, a six-time Super Bowl champion, has now done the unthinkable and led another team to the Super Bowl in just his first year with the franchise.

Superstar Patrick Mahomes stands in his way, establishing himself as the face and future of the NFL. This dynamic highlight machine leads the Chiefs to their second consecutive Super Bowl. It’s no easy task – the last quarterback to win the Super Bowls from behind was Brady in 2004 and 2005.

Brady, who is old enough to be Mahomes’ father, won his first Super Bowl when Mahomes was in kindergarten. It’s a generational showdown. The old guard accepts the new guard. History towards the future. The 43-year-old legend against the 25-year-old child.

The game on Feb. 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa will be Brady’s 10th Super Bowl series. He has more Super Bowl wins than any player in league history. Another win will win him more than any other franchise.

The Buccaneers defeated the No. 1 seeded Green Bay Packers on Sunday, 31-26, to win the NFC and a spot in the Super Bowl. The Buccaneers will be the first team in Super Bowl history to play the championship in their home stadium.

“The faith he gave this organization that it can be done,” said head coach Bruce Arians when asked what brought Brady to the team. “It only took one man.”

Brady had been with the New England Patriots for 20 years before leaving for Tampa.

Mahomes said on Sunday that it would be a wonderful experience to face Brady.

“To go there and get the chance to repeat it and do it against the best, I mean, it’s something special and I’m excited for the opportunity,” he said after the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills 38-24. defeated.

Mahomes will be the first full-back to start several Super Bowls at the age of 25 or younger. Not even Brady has those bragging rights.

November 29 was the last time both backs competed against each other. Mahomes and the Chiefs came out on top 27-24.
