The league announced Friday that Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is missing Sunday’s All-Star festivities.

He sustained the injury in Thursday night’s 120-98 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

The team said in a press release that it was considered daily and would be re-evaluated after the All Star interruption.

Booker was previously selected by Commissioner Adam Silver as a replacement for Anthony Davis, the injured Los Angeles Lakers forward.

The former Kentucky Wildcat was selected third in the NBA All-Star draft Thursday night by Team KD captain Kevin Durant.

Booker would also take part in his fifth three-point game, after which he emerged victorious in the 2018 edition.

Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley Jr. will replace Booker in the All-Star Game and the three-point game on Sunday night in Atlanta.

The choice is the first of Conley’s 14-year career.
