Twitch star Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar explained why he did not join the chaos of the OfflineTV Rust server, while also asking why some ‘really good Rust players’ were allowed to join.
Although Rust has been around since 2013, it has exploded in popularity on Twitch in recent weeks thanks to the OfflineTV server.
Some of Twitch’s best streamers such as xQc, Shroud, Pokimane and Sodapoppin have all played on the server, while the game has often reached the top of the Twitch charts – with creators combining more than one million viewers.
While the server was split in two, many other streamers were able to enjoy the fun, but viewers asked that Summit1g get involved because it is right in its street.

The Rust server from OfflineTV breathed extra life into the popular and unique game.
The former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player responded to the calls during his stream on January 8 and had a simple response – he just had to invest in Escape from Tarkov.
“I’m like a mediocre player. If I had grabbed some guys who were as good as Coconut and chilled it and with them, it would probably be a good time, ‘Summit answered questions about Rust. “But I’m not happy right now. I’m pretty heavy on EFT [Escape from Tarkov].
“I have nothing against Rust, in fact, if this server came right before the start of the EFT, I have a great chance I would play on it,” he continued. ‘But just bad timing while I’m deep in the EFT cattle now. Maybe after, if it’s still going on. ”
The Twitch star further added to his point when he shut down his stream, noting: ‘The really good Rust players are like pro-CS players. You do not have much chance unless you spend a lot of time on it. ”
He also questioned why streamers would “deliberately come with the dudes on a server” because for them, playing against beginners is just a heaven.
Actually I do not know why you guys would deliberately go on a server with the dudes not lol. Less chance in a normal server running into gods.

Lemme just says it. When I smurf myself in GS, I just waste and do not even buy guns. It’s not even fair if you do too, that rust server is smurf heaven, I think lol.

Summit may have left the door open on the possibility that he would join the OfflineTV servers, but it is really a case that it will take long enough as he and a few other streamers are so deep in Escape from Tarkov.
Players on the OfflineTV servers may have just stopped and switched to something else by the time he finished Tarkov, and we might never see him join the party.
