Suggested OnePlus Watch specifications include Warp Charge, more

In the build-up to the launch of the OnePlus 9 series, details are now appearing on some of the additional launch products and accessories – including some OnePlus Watch specifications.

A much anticipated new product from OnePlus will undoubtedly be the firm’s first smartwatch. Following the launch of a smart fitness group earlier this year, a ‘proper’ smartwatch was the next natural step, and we eagerly awaited any news on potential OnePlus Watch specifications.

Unfortunately, the first OnePlus Watch does not come pre-installed with Wear OS, but a recent leak has suggested a range of specifications for the portable. Teen Tipster Ishan Agarwal and the Indian retail price PriceBaba posted pretty interesting specs for the OnePlus Watch.

Agarwal’s OnePlus Watch specification list indicates that the portable crown measures with a fair standard of 46 mm, with all the standard features such as sleep, tension, blood saturation and heart rate tracking. Other highlights include 4GB of internal storage, a full IP68 water and dust resistance rating, plus the ability to automatically detect workouts.

The biggest comments as part of this leaked specification list are that the OnePlus Watch includes Warp Charging as standard – although it’s not clear if it’s supplied via a dedicated cable or that you can charge wirelessly. Only 20 minutes of charging allegedly provides a week’s battery life.

For those in India, the OnePlus Watch specifications indicate that it will even be able to control the OnePlus TV device. A remote control option will be included, which is missing in many other similar options. However, it is not clear exactly which OS the OnePlus Watch will still use.

We’ll just have to wait until March 23rd to see how accurate these OnePlus Watch features are, but this is a pretty standard setup for a ‘premium’ smartwatch.
