We know this since last august that Subnautica and Subnautica: Under Zero come to Switch. Following a recent ESRB rating last month, we suspected that news of the launch date would be coming soon, and Bandai Namco has just confirmed that both games will be launched on May 14th.
In a press release announced, Unknown Worlds Entertainment is partnering with Bandai Namco for a worldwide physical release, and Below Zero will sell for $ 29.99. A physical bundle with both games was also confirmed for the same date, rather amounting to $ 59.99.
Within this press release, Bandai Namco gave an outline of what to expect.
Subnautica: Under Zero invites players to explore the treacherous waters beneath the icy surface of Planet 4546B, an alien world where mysterious water creatures and other watery wonders test the limits of how far they are willing to survive. Players can dive deep into a brand new story, a massive open world to explore, new technology to create and strange mysteries to discover. The Seaworthy update is the latest major update. While Subnautica: Under Zero now has a full story, the final will remain hidden until the official release on May 14th.
