Strange creature terrorizing Polish city dwellers turns out to be a croissant

A strange creature in a tree terrorized a number of people in Krakow, Poland, for two days.

It just seems to be a croissant.

BBC News reports how officials from the Krakow Animal Welfare Society received a furious call to explain how a strange animal – which people are supposed to be a bird of prey or some kind of reptile – went to live in a lilac tree.

According to one woman, people in the area became so scared of the creature that they stopped opening their windows so that this unknown specimen would not enter their homes.

The BBC further reports how the Krakow Animal Welfare Society reacted to the scene and did not find a bird or reptile or even an alien species representing the earth’s downfall in the tree, but a croissant.

How a croissant stuck itself in the lilac tree is a very different question: did it somehow get some sort of feel, which led it to a brunch in which he knew it would be under bottomless mimosas die? Was it actually the reptile that the inhabitants thought it was, just cleverly disguised as something delicious? Or was it just sick about people going on and on on over their too expensive shine of a cousin – the cronut – who walks up to the tree in protest and despair?

Unfortunately, the Animal Welfare Association in Krakow has a theory that is a bit of a finger; the organization’s officials stated that they may have got stuck there after someone threw it out to feed the birds. The fact that any bird with good taste would ignore a whole, free croissant for two days is also suspicious, but maybe they all keep an eye on their numbers for the summer mating season.

What the Animal Welfare Association in Krakow did with the croissant was unknown.
