Steve Martin receives Coronavirus vaccine

You know Steve Martin: actor, comedian, generally sweet man.

Well, good news! Steve has just received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Of course, Steve could not share the news without throwing in a ‘joke’:

Good news / bad news. Good news: I just got vaccinated! Bad news: I got it because I’m 75. Ha! The operation in NYC was smooth as she was (sorry about the cliché @ BCDreyer!) And was perfectly presented by the U.S. Army and National Guard. Thank you so much to everyone, and thank you for the science.

He also answered a question about how exactly he received the vaccine:

I logged on-line via a NYC dot gov website (sorry I did not have the exact website), and waited in line at the Javits Center. https://t.co/Ohp3frxy6i

This is not the only time Steve has tweeted about the coronavirus – like the time he made a joke about wearing a giant “Steve Martin” sign above his head.

I always wear a mask when I go outside. But something about it left me anxious and restless. I thought of the problem, addressed it and here is the solution.

Well, it’s at least one thing to be positive about!
