The Warriors will make at least one major contributor next week or so, as rookie James Wiseman will be re-evaluated after the period after being diagnosed with a sprained wrist from Saturday night’s victory over the Detroit Pistons.
Steph Curry spoke to reporters on Monday and discussed how the Warriors will handle Wiseman’s absence.
‘It’s a concern when you lose someone for any length of time, especially a man who’s in the rotation, but we’ll find out and injuries are of course part of every season, no matter when it comes, you just have to be able to adapt, ‘Curry said. “I do not know what the answer to the rotation is, but we worked on a few things with our small ball line-ups, and (Eric Paschall)’s EP on the five, (Damion Lee) D-Lee on the four, Juan (Toscano-Anderson) will probably play a bit, so just put all hands on the deck. ‘
Warriors coach Steve Kerr is likely to have to mess around, because as The Athletic’s Anthony Slater noted in his question, the list is only one healthy true center in Kevon Looney.
Both Paschall and Draymond Green have experience playing the five, and will definitely do so in the next few games, until Wiseman returns.
As you can see in the video below, Wiseman hurt his wrist in the third quarter of the game on Saturday night and fell off after a missed pass from Green.

Wiseman was replaced in the starting lineup by Looney last week and put together his best performance of the season in a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, who scored 25 points and took six rebounds off the bench in just over 24 minutes.
The starting lineup of the Warriors’ last four games – Curry, Kelly Oubre, Andrew Wiggins, Green and Looney – has played 64 minutes (per basketball reference) this season, surpassing opponents 33.2 points over 100 possessions. .
Looney will receive most of Wiseman’s minutes in his absence, but as Curry noted, the entire bank will have to act until the big man can return to court.
