Usually, when the Golden State Warriors make a lack of effort, we know who is going to express it and let their displeasure be heard: either forward Draymond Green or head coach Steve Kerr.

But Thursday night, in the third quarter of a 130-104 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, TNT cameras captured Steph Curry who was a Pep-13 look.

This is not a face most Dubs fans are used to, nor was it something Reggie Miller expected from the color commentator. “This is perhaps the most animated thing I’ve ever seen during a game,” Miller said. ‘Here’s a sense of urgency. It’s good to see it from Curry. ‘

The speech did not inspire a dramatic return – the Warriors are still smoked in the end – but it did make a big impression on social media. Steph’s sister Sydel tweeted that she can relate to the rest of Golden State’s roster: ‘He got mad at me once 7 years ago and I still feel like a terrible person lol.’

Curry had one of his worst games of the season against the Clippers and finished with 14 points in 27 minutes, but he and the rest of his teammates will have the chance to break a losing streak of four games Sunday against the Utah Jazz.
