Steelers rest TJ Watt, Cam Heyward and others regular against Browns

While the Cleveland Browns face some trails due to COVID-19 issues, Sunday’s opponent at FirstEnergy Stadium voluntarily scales back the roster.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Steelers in Week 17 will not have three perennial Pro Bowlers in their series. Bruines. All four are healthy enough to play, but will put out.

The absence of Watt, the frontrunner for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, is a huge blessing for the Browns offense. Baker Mayfield, Cleveland QB, asked several questions about Watt during press conferences this week, and his reverence and respect for the All-Pro permeated his answers.

Cleveland must win the game to clinch a post-season league. Pittsburgh has already locked up the AFC North crown and cannot earn a farewell in the game card round.
