The NFL will definitely have played 255 games in the 2020 season when the clock strikes midnight. The final number will probably be 256.

For now, however, the Steelers-Browns game is in a vague state. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, test takes place on Sunday morning. So far there have been no positive results. A clear answer is expected soon.

The Browns have seven players on the COVID-19 reserve list, and they will miss three coaches. The league concluded that the underlying infections were the result of dispersal of the community and not of an outbreak in the facility.

Although players and coaches still remove the virus from the facility, the league has avoided another outbreak. For the season, it only had two: Tennessee at the end of September and Baltimore at the end of November.

UPDATE 10:45 AM: It’s all clear to the Browns. Play on.
