Steam’s latest Lunar New Year Sale comes with thousands of discount games

Offers: The holiday season is long gone, but that does not mean that the savings should stop. Yesterday, Steam launched its latest annual Lunar New Year sale, bringing tens of thousands of composite offerings across a wide variety of games.

As usual with steam sales these days – even the bigger ones, unfortunately – Valve did not prepare for a meta-event this time around. There are no mini-games, competitions or giveaways to speak of, so the offers must stand on their own.

Valve is giving away a new animated sticker with a lunar New Year theme (made by the talented Andre Dias) every day of the sale, but it’s about it. Fortunately, the discount is good enough that the lack of a special occasion doesn’t really matter.

You can organize offers by genre and theme, or browse the main store page, where you will find a compilation of discounts to suit your specific taste. Or, at least, some steam think your taste is.

One of the bigger discounts available is the Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition bundle, which will cost you only $ 14.80. The bundle contains all the DLCs and extras that the game has received over time – it’s usually a $ 109 combination, so you save a lot of cash.

You can also pick up the fantastic Total War: Three Kingdoms for just $ 30 (half the regular price), and Total War: Warhammer for $ 15 (75% off). If RPGs are more your speed, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is 60 percent less, and even the virtually brand new Cyberpunk 2077 has gotten a notable price reduction of 10 percent.

if you have cash to burn, this is the perfect time to check out Steam’s latest deals. The Lunar New Year Sale ends on February 15 at 10:00 in the Pacific, and it started yesterday, so there are still three days to take advantage of it.
