New Mexico has the highest percentage of its population fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the CDC’s COVID-19 vaccine distributor and application detection.

The CDC’s data tracker compiles data from healthcare facilities and public health authorities. It is updated daily to report the total number of people in each state who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

As of 6 a.m. EDT on April 1, a total of 56,089,614 Americans were fully vaccinated, or 16.9 percent of the country’s population.

Below are the states and Washington, DC, according to the CDC according to the percentage of their population that has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
