State of Decay 2 Devs apologize and explain confusing “Nazi Punching” trait

Tension over the confusing effects of character traits in the game has fueled at least one trailer for State of Decay 2 by developer Undead Labs, which now has a apology and enlightenment, Report PC Gamer.

Steam Marines developer James Seow tweeted innocently over the past month about their experience playing State of Decay 2, until they discovered that one of their characters possessed the character of ‘punched nazis’. The core of the trait is that the character quickly resolves conflict with physical violence, especially if arguments stem from strong beliefs.

Materially, the trait only adds a damage bonus and makes your character more irritated to others and is indicated as a negative trait.

As Undead Labs refined the state of decay 2 after release, the feature became less and less nuanced. Eventually, all arguments between characters were categorized under one umbrella, which penalized a strong faith, no matter how ideologically different, the same.

He noticed this and tweeted on Twitter at the Undead Labs and the State of Decay 2 Twitter accounts and asked why the game contained ‘Nazi shit’. Seow was soon blocked by both Undead Labs and the State of Decay 2 Twitter accounts.
