Stardew Valley is now five years old. Creator thanks fans for sticking to it

And I’ve been playing it for so long

Stardew valley is a timeless game. This is something I will be playing for decades to come, and I’m glad it’s possible on so many platforms: it’s much easier to preserve!

Pictured above is one of my first farms that I started years ago, and to which I return so often. This past week, Stardew celebrated its fifth year of existence. It’s forever ago in the collective consciousness of games!

Even though so many projects these days are forgotten a week after release Stardew endured. Partly due to the tireless efforts of the creator, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. They played an important role in the success of the game, and not only made free updates to keep the game interesting, but also to communicate with fans and give an allure of everything. Stardew related (with a heartfelt thanks for the commemoration of the anniversary).

At this point, it has far exceeded the reach of the PC original, with numerous fans, pieces of merchandise and recently a board game. The game is better with Stardew valley, and Baron, in it.
