Star Wars: Republiekkommando launches on April 6 for Switch and PS4 (it can be played on PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility) and costs $ 14.99, available in both consoles’ online stores. Although 16 years old, the game has a strong following among Star Wars fans, and it was also played in five paperback adaptations by Karen Traviss. The revival is a single player experience (Republic Command had a less remembered multiplayer mode) with modernized controls.
In Republic Command, players lead the Republic’s Delta group as clone troop Delta-38 (Boss), directing teammates Fixer, Scorch and Sev with tactical maneuvers such as break-and-clear, fixed sniper position and the closing of closed doors.
